Singer Simi has gushed over her colleague Chike’s melodic voice.
She said she loves his voice, adding that it is laden with emotions.
The mother of one stated this in a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos.
Tooxclusive recalls that Chike and Simi collaborated on a love song titled ‘Running To You’ in 2021.
Simi said the ‘Boo of The Booless’ crooner was full of gratitude to her for the collaboration.
She said:
“I actually love Chike’s voice so much. There is so much emotions his voice carries. When he wanted to do the song , I don’t even think I was around. He sent it to me. He already had a version of the song on his album, but I hadn’t heard the album at the time. And when I sent the version, I was like, ‘This is so beautiful.’
“I was so happy to do it. Funny thing is that I’ve done quite a number of features, but he was just very appreciative. He kept showing how appreciative he is, and I really liked that.”
